Ingredients:

• 2 cups flour.
• ¾ cup sugar.
• 2 tsp. baking powder.
• ¾ cup milk.
• 1 tsp salt.
• 2 eggs (beaten).
• 1 tsp vanilla.
• 1 tbsp melted.
• Cooking margarine.
• Vegetable oil.
• Cinnamon sugar.

Method:

• Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
• Add melted cooking margarine, eggs, vanilla, and milk.
• Beat until it forms a smooth mixture.
• Fill a deep-fryer or pan with vegetable oil and heat to 190°C.
• Coat the inside of the doughnut maker lightly with vegetable oil and fill with batter.
• Holding the doughnut maker with your fingers, press the knob with your thumb, then release quickly.
• Repeat the 'press and release' process to make the required amount of doughnuts.
• Cook for 1 minute on each side until golden brown.
• Drain doughnuts on a paper towel to remove any excess oil.
